Maxie J. gave birth to the Ellaè Lisquè brand in 2014. A ready-to-wear dress line intentionally created to make women feel sexy, fabulous and sophisticated.
The self-made entrepreneur started Ellaé Lisqué with a small collection of six dresses online. After experiencing initial hardships, the line has since grown to a multi million dollar brand that not only caters to the petite women in fashion, but she also caters to the beautiful plus size community as well.
Maxie believes that all shapes and sizes deserve to feel and look fabulous! Ellaé Lisqué is not only an online experience, but also a showroom in the heart of the fashion district Downtown Los Angeles. Maxie.J also owns a manufacturing facility, and company in Istanbul, Turkey. Where her team brings her designs to life, exclusively for Ellaé Lisqué, what a blessing!
Annual Fashion Show
Maxie J. has hosted the annual Ellaé Lisqué fashion show every year since 2015 and has also been featured in Milan Fashion Week, Paris fashion week and New York fashion week several times in her career.
Her styles have been adorned by many celebrities such as; Megan Good, Summer Walker, Saweetie, Sevyn Streeter, Hannah Stocking, Bebe Rexha, Tamar Braxton, Keisha Cole, Meagan Good and K.Michelle just to name a few.

Ellaé Lisqué is not just a business venture for Maxie.j, it’s her passion and life purpose to make women feel beautiful , exclusive , sexy and prominent !Ellaé Lisqué brand message is inclusive, resourceful, and all about women! While many fashion enthusiasts continue to have conversations about inclusion in the fashion industry, the LA native took it upon herself to sit at her own table.Maxie has built her brand on inclusivity, she stands on hiring BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) young adults. 99% of her team are women of color.

Maxie J. continues to break barriers and is set to take over 2022 by storm with her new designs and upcoming projects such as her Master Class “Fashionaire Academy” and book “Fashionaire Success Guide” which will teach aspiring entrepreneurs and designers to reach their fullest potential and soar. Maxie.j gives hope to the masses that if she can make her dreams come true, they can too.
“I’m striving right now, and I want to pass on the knowledge. I had to bump my head a thousand times to get here,” says Maxie J. “If I can teach others how to avoid the head bumps, then I’d be living my full purpose and doing God’s work.”
